Welcome to Genesis Family Farm! We are a family of seven and lived on a 20 acre farm in Hamilton, Michigan for over 20 years, however our family has just recently moved to Northern Michigan. Our new home has a fabulous expanse of wild places for our children and dogs to explore. For those of you who have been to our Hamilton home, please consider visiting us at our new ranch in Merritt. We have always home schooled our children and we firmly believe children should grow up with animals to love and care for. This commitment to care for something other than themselves creates long lasting skills in compassion, hard work, and family connections. We have had many animals on our farm over the years including: chickens, ducks, rabbits, show pigs, milk goats, a donkey, and even alpacas! We enjoyed them all but it was when Willow, our mini whoodle, had her first litter of puppies in 2017 that we all found our true love. At Genesis Family Farm, we are committed to raising healthy, high-quality, companion dogs for families everywhere. We hope you find the furry friend you are looking for.

ABOUT THE BREEDS
Whoodles
A whoodle is a soft-coated wheaten terrier crossed with a poodle. There are two sizes generally, standard and mini. Whoodles are intelligent, fun and excellent family companions. They are focused, calm and committed. Though wonderful with children, they are not very fond of cats (but can learn to accept them if introduced early). Whoodles prefer to be with their family rather than without, but can tolerate alone time if need be. They thrive in cold weather conditions and do not like the heat. Their coat needs regular grooming and they need moderate exercise. Whoodles are 100% hypoallergenic as both parent breeds do not shed, and they love everybody.
Bernedoodles
A bernedoodle is a Bernese mountain dog crossed with a poodle. They also come in two sizes, standard and mini. A standard will be anywhere from 45 to 85 lbs while a mini can be approximately 20 to 40 lbs. Loyal is the word that describes them best--they love their families, and will be extremely committed. Generally calm as adults, these dogs require training to accept strangers. They are not an aggressive dog, but hesitant. Bernedoodles are good with children, and a great addition to any family. They also require grooming and are not always 100% hypoallergenic.
